Typically not a thought here in New Hampshire. SUV normally comes with it.
At least the rear 3 sides
She wants it for the kids.
Do I keep my mouth shut and make her pay to have it done
Or do I shut the **** up and make her pay to have it done.
The kid and upcoming kid are in my rear seats less than 10 minutes when I pick them up
And my last suv didnt have ac
So I think I shut the **** up

I'd tint it. I did all mine, and it really does make a difference in temp and looks.

Have it tinted, live here in FL I will tint certain things myself. Don't get anything cheap - ceramics are the new normal. Why I pay, if things aren't done right or fade prematurely, bring it back. My two cents.

I tinted ALL my glass surfaces (and I do mean ALL...sunroof, FRONT windshield) with 3M ceramic Crystal low color, but HIGH UV and IR rejection (I think it was 10% tint, so hardly can see it is tinted at all for front windshield) and you will be AMAZED at how much of a difference it makes. ENORMOUS! The downside is that these films are VERY VERY sensitive to scratches. Don't put a sunblock windshield screen against them, they will scratch if you breathe on them. But the difference it makes is unbelievable!

Also, the downside w/ Crystal ceramic 3M product is it is tricky to make it stick to highly curved surfaces. My rear window is peeling from where the black dots are at the top. That's what I get for having a Pringle's shaped rear window.

I cannot more highly recommend 3M crystal tint film.
