Whenever someone gets "creative" with a SHO, it turns out to be puke material. IMO, these cars are very attractive as it is. Wanna better em? Sure, no problems, get some intrax, throw on some nice 17's-18's and your cars gonna be sexy. Body kit, slammed to the ground, rice mufflers....I suggest those folks go out and buy an import. No need to destroy an allready pretty car.

Also, someone stated if everyones sho looked stock, an stayed the same it would be boring. Well, the sho is allready rare as it is and i would rather have a mint, clean one that one that has "creativity" throw on it. Such as the yellow one up above.

For the most part....there are some styling cues that could be better done, and no one can deny the fact that old boy who grafted impala headlights into his SHO made it look worse....or Justin's SHO with the billit grill and spoiler big enough for chickens to perch on.

Admittedly, I've seen two or three body kits done on SHOs and regular taurus/sables, and I've not seen one I care for with the exception of that pic that prophet posted up above.

I personally like people taking some risks on making their SHO look different, as it's easy for most any SHO to get lost in a mix at a convention unless they have the hood open and blower or turbo under hood, and with everyone and their mother upgrading to these two, even these will get lost in the shuffle.

I applaude people that are creative like the forum member with the widebody SHO, that thing will stand out at any SHO gathering.

Hey Prophet, you got a front view of that sho? From the rear it looked pretty good. Who's car is that?

It was Prophets old car, he just photochopped that pic, and yes, that looks CLEAN and sexy.

In my personal opinion I give the guy a lot of credit. He is doing something that nobody else would dare to do because they would be hate on for it from the people on this site. I give him lots of respect and credit for doing what he's doing because on this site if you do something out of your own taste you get hated on... I know because when I installed the lambo doors on my SHO I heard tons of crap for it. Everytime someone on this site bashes someones car I just keep doing more stuff to mine that I like to do to **** them off more. So in all keep up the good work your SHO looks really nice only thing I would do is work on some sideskirts to level it all out, drop the front a little more, and add some black sho inserts and it will look even better.. Keep me posted.

Why are you getting all defensive man? Why does it matter to you if other people don't like your car or any other members cars? It really doesn't affect me if people don't like mine.
When you post something in a public forum you're subjecting yourself to people's opinion, whether they're good or bad.

That guy with the yellow sho is hated on not only because his car is ugly, but also because he's a scammer, taking lots of money from various people on this board.

People don't do what he did to his car not because we're scared to be "hated on", but because it's not the taste of people here. Most of use don't like the riced out Fast and the Furious look, simple as that, not your theory of scared being hated upon.

Do I give him, you, or Justin respect for spending money on those things you guys did? Sure, but I'd never ever do those things to my car. And that's what most people said to you IIRC.

P.S. Nobody's going to get ****** off about you doing things to your ride, it doesn't affect anyone else but you. People might not like it, but it won't affect us personally. Trust me.

NOW THAT I LOVE ON THE FRONT OF THE SHO :naughty:

IT LOOKS kind of like a skyline

A what!!!! What are you smokin?

Damn thats an old one.. Id have to say if and when the kit became finished( sideskirts??) theres a possibilty it could look decent. I agree (with myself) that its a little too big.

Its too bad that only cool things going on in the community (for the most part) are not on this board. So instead of talking about new things, we keep bringing up old topics, and cars that probably dont even exist anymore.

Yea.. so.. Whos gonna make some 18" slicers??

lessee....if I turn my head sideways whilst smoking two joints and drinking straight from a bottle of everclear, with my sunglasses on, the wind blowing 27mph out of the southwest and my dog sneezing, i guess I can kinda see what he's talking about...

EH, I'm going both ways...I like it and I don't. The front and rear stick out too far, but if they were shorter it would look good.it needs skirts though, not a bad looking car.

Look, the SHO is about one thing and one thing only. The ability to rip ricers apart when they think in their heads "old taurus". Just a few days ago, an idiot in a rediculously lowered civic hatchback whose muffler was sparking up the highway, who you could see was unfomfortable cause he could feel every single bump on the highway, try to stop me from passing him. All I did was downshift and the 6 lights he had mounted upfront were only a memory about 1 mile later.

Bottom line, regardless of how the car looks, what patters is that you can put it down when people like this think little of the SHO.

Its a respect issue to the SHO granted we can all be a little bit harsh on our opinions but what matters is if you like your car and can look at it and be proud... shooff13 did go into his cosmetic alot but its still an SHO and you can see the taurus in it as for the yellow one... i hate it lol... but if he really wants it to look like a mustang or skyline or what ever the heck he wants thats fine your car should be an expression of yourself and nobody else... i wake up at 6:30 in the morning almost every morning to wash my car, engine and all and fill the tank before work because i adore my SHO.

My plans for my SHO dont include lambo doors or a bodykit or anything like that but i will dress it up nicely as soon as i get all the little things wrong with it fixed and i will be open to opinion as much as anyone else weither its praise like the orange SHO which i respect, or ridicule like the yellow SHO but either way IM going to like my SHO

Shooff13 loves his SHO and the lambo doors was an expression because he doesnt have a 1/4 million to drop on and actual lambo working at radioshack lol so he did the next best thing... some people dont like it some do... the only real issue is "Do YOU love your SHO??"

Exactly, you shouldn't really care if people dislike your car as long as you like it. No need to get mad or defensive about it.

so im late to this discussion.... i never realized that a taurus and a mustang were pretty close in width.... i wonder how much work that really took....
personally, i would like it if it wasnt sooo extreme...but john and justin, both of you have bad a$$ cars IMO, if you like it, who cares if someone else doesnt....
