I was out of town all last week, and it seems my car may run for a couple of days in a row, so now I can work on getting to Madison.

The prelim plan at the moment is to leave Fort Worth about 8am Saturday, and drive to somewhere around Omaha. Then wander through Iowa and Wisconsin on Sunday. Just to be different.

I'll get the route figured out in the next couple of days and post it on Topica and here. But that's the plan, today anyway.

OK folks, here's the plan:

Leave Fort Worth 8:00am Saturday, July 12th.

Spend night at Days Inn, Council Bluffs, Iowa 3619 9th Ave. 50501 712-323-2200 I just reserved a room for $49.50 +TT&L

Then on to Middleton, WI via Cedar Rapids, and than toddlin' town, Dubuque.

Toolman, if I remember correctly, you are just east of Tulsa. The shortest way for you to meet up with us is for you to go to Topeka. The more fun way is for you to meet us at the intersection of US 412 and I-35. We should be there around noon. If you know a place to eat somewhere around there, that would be great. Or we'll just find something, somewhere.

Lemme know what y'all think.
