who has that s/c motor? how much do the wheels weigh?
I can't for the life of me remember the guys name but Jeremy Thomas knows. He lived in NY and actually sold the SHO. It was listed in the SHO trader section a while back with a price of about $9500 including an extra lower compression motor. I'll post a pic of the outside of the car and you might remember it.

That pic sorta rings a bell. Then again it looks like my car in a better condition. By the way I vote for his rims!

I vote 3... and not to butt in on your post, but email me, i may be selling the 17" Mille Miglia's off of my 95.. New tires put on 3K ago, and one of the front rims is not even mounted yet, (just got a new frt. from tirerack...)... Let me know, you can see in the pic what they look like on an SHO.... Keep me posted!

It was Jim Filzof`s SHO.The inside and underneath of the car is jusy as impressive as the outside. He sold that SHO(the spare motor had the entire block powdercoated red!)all the parts, and his other blue 95 SHO,and bought a Rousch Mustang. He still has a Rose Mist Gen III.The Gen I was bought by Tim Dahm, off the old Topica list.As far as i know,it is still not running, but i may be mistaken.Jim had even worse luck than Fred, his never ran well enough to even drive it.

And a bit of SHO trivia:The supercharger on Jim SHO was originally installed on the 91 now owned by Jay(meshohorny)when it was owned by Marcus Betchel.

The Tire Rack has the Moda R1 on sale for $149 in 17x7.5 which looks a lot like #2. IMO a wild wheel can distract from looking at the car itself, so #2.

3!!!
Don't crazySHO88 have the exact same T5R wheels on his green 95? They look great IMO.

#1 looks very cool alone, but I have to see it on a SHO first.

BTW where are you planning to buy them?

I'm not sure where I am buying the rims. I don't even know if they will be that cheap but I assumed they would because they are produced for Volvo's and you'd think that you would be able to pick up a used set for cheap.

I vote for #1... #2 is too generic... #3 is nice, but looks like it came from a Volvo. #1 is subtle and classy. That's why I vote for #1

The Volans are nice #1 and are cheaper and easier to find than the Polaris wheels #3.

The cool thing about the polaris wheels is that when looking at them from the side, they look silver. But stand up and back away from them and they turn to a more gunmetal darker finish gray, looks really cool IMO.

watch ipd's classified sections, there are a few sets of volans on there now:

Also check out the NEW s70R and v70R wheels if you want something new:

http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/s70v70r.htm

I'd go Polaris #3, super nice wheels

SHOs and Volvos, this is right up my alley! thumbs_u

I did a very VERY crappy photoshop of a gen II SHO with the #1 wheels and they didn't look good to me at all.

I'd stick with the #3 wheels.
