The 3.2 ATX O2 sensors use a 4 wire, the fourth wire serves as a ground connnecting the sensor direct back to the ECM.
The 3.0 L MTX setup uses a 3 wire sensor so that is what will bolt in. However, considering that the ground path is through the rusty cast iron manifold, through the aluminum head, then into the cast iron block and then to the ground strap, you might consider using the 4 wire senors and just running a ground wire to the ECM/EEC-IV. The higher voltage signal received should cuase the ECM to lean things out a bit and improve fuel mileage.
