I know this has been posted but the posts I found were kind of old.I am getting ready to replace my radiator with a stock one and was curious where to buy best/cheapest brand. Local parts stores are in the $120-$150 price range. I saw two on rockauto for under $100 (spectra/proliance) but not sure about quality of something that cheap. Any suggestions appreciated.

Go to ebay.com and they sell them cheap there- I bought one a few months back and it hasn't blown up yet.

Midwestsho/Wbodystore sells dual core radiators for the SHO - if you want really reall good cooling. Otherwise you are looking at the $100 dollar range.

I installed a spectra radiator in a '91 Buick last week - it was the cheapest one. Didn't seem to be built any worse or any better than other ones.

Id never bother with a junk-yard radiator.

Check out your local parts store. Napa, Autozone, Carquest, kregan, etc.... I like CarQuest the best.

And just find the cheapest radiator you can find. Most are garanteed for life, and the SHO radiator is a very quick swap.

You can go double-core, too. I bought mine from Nook a while back. I think you may be able to PM him on here, or he may have a website. I thought it was prosuspension.com or something, but I went there and it doesn't look like a site Nook would run. I'm not being a whole lot of help, am I?

I have replaced the radiator in three of my SHO's. The first two got one from NAPA and the last one I just bought from Advanced Auto. All are doing quite well and not leaking so I would just go to my local auto parts store and handle it that way. As was said earlier the radiator on these cars is not a difficult swap. :) Good luck!
