Where in the world do i get.......

I am looking for a 2 guage A-pillar pod. Where in the world to i get one?? I have looked everywhere and all I can see are gen 2 pods, its drving me nuts!

Goto the V8sho.com they have the mod and will tell you whick 2 gauge pillar to get for Gen III. Its an mustang one you have to buy.

Ok I checked it out and it said late model Mustang Pods, are there any specific years I need to look for, and what constitutes LATE model??

Its also a pain to install...but do it right the first time. You have to use a good contact cement and zip ties because it wasn't make for the SHO...it was made for the Mustang. Let it dry for a couple days and install the small plastic pins. Paint it your interior color and you're done. The interior spray paint is about $12 from any Stealer.

I found it a lot simpler (and IMO, better looking) to toss out the ash tray an install an instrument cluster there, plus there is room for the 4 guages you actually need.

I did have a digital photo around somewhere, but cannot find it at the moment. Later today I will dig out the camera and take another and email it to you. It has worked out very well. I made the mount cluster from a set of 4 bezels left over from many years ago. I am sure you can come up with something similar. Two of the instruments are new Autometers and the other two are left over Borg Warners that I had kicking around. I have some others out there somewhere in the shop still, I am sure.

The result gives me Oil Temp, Trans Fluid Temp, Oil Pressure, and Volts. I tapped the lighting into the same line as for the panel, so it dims and brightens on the same switch.

I think the correct year for the mustang pillar is 94-95. I think thats what I ordered for my SHO. Stephen, I've seen that picture of your quad guage setup. It really didn't have the fit and finish that an A-pillar pod has. I do have to give you credit for ingenuity and for function
