And I told you Matt, that thing made my 3.8 run like crap too! If you do end up replacing it, make sure it's been awhile since the car has been on, it can be a hot ************!

you can test the valve to see if it will open/or if it may be staying open by using a vacuum pump to open the vale with car running it will run worso if yours has a potential to do so. If you take the valve off you can poor some gasoline in the inlet side and if it runs out the outlet it leaks and needs replaced. Whatever you do don't by the pressure sensor until you check the code and then check the nostrils, test the egr valve. You may also want to unhook the EGR vacuum pressure regulator to see if it is stuck and commanding the EGR valve to remain open.

But as I and others have eluded don't chase your problem by buying parts. I did it and I've got the spare used parts to show.
