Where is everyone....

Any ideas on topics to start?? If you have any questions or observations please post 'em!

I'll try and think of some in the next few hours....I've got a meeting to go to for now.

We gotta get this part of the forum moving again!

Well, when the wheels I won get here, I will be able to do some commenting on Tim Wright's ideas about what fits. Until then, the darn thing is just working great, so I am somewhat at a loss as to what to start a new topic about.

Mark, did you ever get the name/pics of that window shield you have that actually fits? I am getting tired of mine trying to fall down.

Sorry Stephen...I've been very busy.

I had a three hour meeting last night and the weekend was very busy too.

I'm home all night tonight and will be sure to get it done. I've got a little yellow sticky on my computer right now

I'll email the pics to you tonight.

Stephen,

I emailed you 4 photos and a link to a place to buy the shade. Very easy, compact and look pretty good. They stay in place too!

Let me know if you got the emails....

Oh I am around here. I frequently check the forum out. I am installing the SARC cutout switch this week. I changing it alittle though. When I am done it will tell me that the SARC is diabled by lighting a green LED. I am making it look as close to stock as I can with after market switch and LED. The light will be on when the switch diables the SARC and off when switch enables the suspension thingy

Mac,

If you are going to use a LED switch be careful to get the right voltage range. That is a hefty circuit. And for the light pattern you are indicating, you will have to provide a power source for the light, since it sounds like you are going to an on indication when the system is off and an off indication when the system is on. If you are an electrical type, just ignore this, since you already know! [

Successful completion of said circuit. Takes one relay and one LED (radio shack 12v) and one SPDT switch (120 VAC type or 12V type) Since your driving a signal wire to relay no load is placed on switch Looks as close to factory I can get. Power is fed by taping under the center console. Works great!

Sounds good! I intentionally wanted it to look other than stock so used one of those large nickle plated toggles. Mounted it on the center section above my right knee so I could not hit it unintentionally. When asked, I just say it is a magic switch and then look meaningfully at the front passenger seat...
