Ok, so yesterday on the way home, right as I turned on the last street to my house, I put the sho in second gear. As I gave it gas, it started stuttering REAL bad, and almost cut off. It took me like 10 min. to drive a block. Then this morning, the car went in reverse fine, but when I put it in 1st to go forward, it won't go past 2500 rpm. It'll idle fine, but will not go forward. Please, someone tell me what the problem is. I have no gas in it, so I thought that might be the problem. But, if it needed gas, it would'nt even start right?

try gas,it still may start even with very low gas
ive ran mine outta gas before,it was doing that same thing,bucking and hesitating

Fuel pressure due to lack of gas in tank or fuel pump going bad.
check pressure at the fuel rail. Should be 30 psi at key on engine off.....35 to 40 psi with engine running.
