I am planning to get a set of duralast plugwires from autozone and was wondering what spark plugs to get for the best fit to the plug wires.

thanks,

Autolites!! They are like 2.50 a plug and the SHO seems to LOVE them on a N/A motor... And i wouldn't get dura-crap.. Personally ive had bad luck with them.. causing my 5.0 to run on 6 cylinders.. I would go to SHOsource and get some taylors if you can spare the $$!! :D

Get the factory plugs, they actually fit properly. Unfortunately, the Autolites do not fit correctly and cause a small gap between the boot top and valve cover.

I've run stock Motorcraft, Splltfires, AC Rapidfires, and now E3 plugs, and they all fit properly. I like the E3 plugs over the others; better kick and tip in throttle response and come with lifetime guarantee. In my '89, the stock Motorcrafts do not seem to perform as good as the others. Did a back to back comparison of new Motorcraft (old style) vs
E3's, and did feel an improved kick with the E3's particularly when the secondaries opened.

The factory plugs are the Motorcraft AGSP32PP and are no longer commercially available. The AWSF32FM fine wire replacement plug from Motorcraft is too long for proper sealing of the plug well. Might as well get the Autolite APP3924 since it is a true double platinum like the original. The Autolites have run fine for 120,000 miles (2 sets).

Autolite APP3924 (Running Autolite XP3924's Currently)
Motorcraft, Taylor, Or Accel Wires are the only ones I could recommend (Running Accels Currently)

Stay away from any DOHC plugwire set from AZ, trust me, I have an intimate working environment with them.
