I have 92 MTX which I just blew my tranny last week however I just bought 91 MTX that has been sitting for almost a year ( The body is rot ) or two and The motor n Tranny is about 90 k. My car has about 185 k so ...Obviously both of motor runs real good but the 91 runs more smooth....So Should I swap it or take the tranny out n put another tranny in my 185k motor ? Lemme know whatcha think of it?

I might parting out an 91 MTX.

From the information given, if the tranny is still good on the '91, then use it. Will this work be worth it to you? Or you can find a low mlieage 3.2L and swap that in instead.

If you elect to use the higher mileage engine, at the very leart, change the rod bearings before installing it.
