I deleted my post - I didn't mean to write this or post it. Sounded too harsh, sorry.

All good man and I took no offense! All we can do is share our experiences and yours obviously wasn't the best one.

I had an unpleasant experience with Firestones Destination A/Ts a few years ago and because of that, I'm hesitant to try the brand again and certainly can't recommend those tires.

I switched my stock Michelin Primacy's at about 10K with Goodyear Eagle F1 performance (summer only) I got about 25K out of the F1's before they finally gave up the ghost. Cord Showing during my annual state safety inspection is automatic fail in Texas and most states I suspect. Switched back to the OEM Primacy MXM's to get a PASS on inspection and immediately ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ with no problems. I recently traded the vehicle and put the OEM Primacy's back on for trade. My Pilot Sports have a touch over 6K on them. Install date 9/17 tire manufacturer date 1116...that's 11th week so around mid March.

I personally would recommend the Pilot Sport's but another good candidate would be Pirelli Cintaurato P7 A/S good tread, low noise and good durability. I had them on my 2013 SEL and great tire, excellent all weather traction and handling. Great in snow, no hydroplaning and look good.

Thanks for the posting. I put 255's on mine about 18 months ago with no issues or complaints so far, I'll have to check the date code (thanks again for posting). I rotate every oil change myself and keep my pressures at 30psi cold, I also gauge across the tire at every rotation and record.
