Just wondering what exactly could be the problem with the transmission on the '89 project we (g/f and I) just purchased. The trans. leaks very badly, with a steady drip. Not sure of where it comes out or anything cause I have not picked the car up yet. I just wanna get a heads up on what the problem may be. The car still does drive, and seems fine. No slipping in the trans. or clutch, and everything engages fine. Is it possible this could just be a leaky gasket that just needs to be replaced? The guy we bought it from said it just started to leak, and after 4 days it was empty. Also, a front bumper can be used from any Gen I, right? Someone hit something, so it needs a grill and new bumper cause there is a SLO bumper on there now.
