Checking at my local AutoZone and at the online store, I found that the VS50378R kit is no longer available. I think RockAuto is up to $93 and 3-5 day delay on shipping. Perhaps this kit is going away.

I just got a set from AutoZone on 13 April 02. I took the part # in and told them what I wanted. Do let them do the usual what make what model what year what engine.

I have heard from others on the Forum that the AutoZone parts data base does not list the Fel-Pro VS59378R seal set against all years of the V6 SHO engine. I checked last night after reading your post and still located the set for my 1991 SHO in the "Engine External -> Valve Cover Gasket" path. It is still $71.99. You may want to check this same path for your engine and, if not found, use the 1991 engine reference. I have created a "garage" in my AutoZone.com account of most of the year/engine combinations of SHOs.

sdpatt,

There is not a 3.2L engine for 1991. I have the 3.2L in a '95 SHO. What engines use the same Fel-Pro kit ?

From my own experience, I tried to get the Felpro Gasket kit for my 1995 SHO...but Autozone.com did not have them available right away. Instead, I decided to order from fordpartsnetwork.com and they had the gasket kit in stock. In fact, I got my plugs and wires from them too. Why not give them a try... :D

I used the search feature and found that the 3.0 and 3.2 covers are the same. Autozone.com has the part listed as still available for the 92, 3.0 litre. That seems very lame! If you have the part, you have the part. Why remove the part from only certain years of cars??!! I will make another trip to Autozone.

That worked ! I told the guy to lookup a '92 SHO with 3.0 and low and behold, the part number came up. There was one in the local warehouse. I may have it tonight.

I still think that's a crock of..... Why would they remove a cross referance to a part number they stock for the 3.2 motor but leave it for the 3.0 but only for 91 and 92 ?
