Go to Autozone, $54 I believe. If you have oil in your plug wells, you'll need plugs and wires. Doing the stem seals and and cleaning out the oil without new wires and plugs, can actually make things worse. To get the oil out get a turkey injector from your local grocery store. Just suck it out. Best solution you'll find. Some say a windex sprayer, but that gets oil everywhere and can take forever. Taylor Spiro Pros at Summit at about $95 with 2 day shipping. OEM wires are $100+. The only plugs to get are the MOTORCRAFT AGSP32PPs. Don't get that Autolite stuff, they're a bit shorter, and they're shaped slightly different. People have gotten as little as 1k miles out of them. $3.79 a piece, is cheap insurance. Not to mention some sort of special coating on the plugs. Good like and remember 11-17 punds on intake bolts, and 7-12 on the valve cover bolts.

Ditto what Ferendon said about it being worse without wires and getting the oil out.

The valve cover/ plug well gaskets are $72 at autozone. Searching for "oil plug wells" will find many threads with info, including part#'s.

Motorcraft wires can be found cheap (as possible anyways) at fordpartsnetwork.com

Good luck!

I called the autozone nearest to me(actually its the only autozone in the state of Montana). And since they didn't have any in stock they couldn't tell me for sure if the plug well seals came with it.Because they have the well seals listed seperately on the website(and it says their unavailable).

The part number for the gasket set in question is Fel-Pro VS50378R, as mentioned about $70 or so at http://www.autozone.com

Sorry, I figured you had read from autobahnsho's reply that the plug well seals are included in the VS50378R set. That set comes with both valve cover gaskets and six plug well seals.

Ditto, that it does. Both valve cover gaskets and stem seals. I forgot I had a store credit when I bought mine.
