Going back to carolina Thursday (Jan 8th) night. What kind of work do you have left to do in your family room?

I have to take out a portion of a wall and put up a little drywall. The rest is mostly paint and removal of old carpet. This house has been an ongoing project for about a year now. I know it will never end, but it has come a loooong way.

Uh yeah, with that 20 year old carpet still there it looks like crap. It will be done soon enough. I have to move the electrical outlet up to it sits behind the TV. I'm going for stealth mode lol, no wires showing.

Sounds cool. I spent a few years doing some similar work remodeling homes with my roommate's uncle. Demo, clean, rebuild, floor, drywall, trim, paint.

BTW, I just found a '94 near me for $250, all I know is that it needs a tranny.

I'll post some before and after pics when I get done. It's pretty easy work, but it takes patience and skill. I've seen some hack jobs done that looked like a toddler did the paint and the spackle.
