I pulled the upper intake apart to clean the butterfly valves and replace the rear ignition coils and plugs. I'm ready to put it back together but I cannot find upper intake gaskets anywhere. My car is a 1997 Ford Taurus with a 3.4 v8. Does anyone have any idea about getting parts for this?

You got a part number? There are a bunch of parts that are hard/impossible to find. I really like those v8 cars ( had one for many years) but parts are a big issue with those now.

Are these coated metal gaskets? If so i would reuse them and get some tacky gasket spray.

I always just sprayed some paint on them and assembled wet to reuse.

Clean the old one's the best you can and use a very thin coat ultra black. Just did my Dad's 96 Rose mist and made a PCV tube out of aluminum. It ain't pretty but it works 20220705 14550420220705 145334
