the car left me on the side of a twisty highway. I had just downshifted into second at 45mph ready to beat the living **** out of my car and when I downshifted and started to tip in the car began loosing power and died.

what I know

*no voltage at fuel pump (checked with test light via the cutout in my floor)
*swaped the imrc out with a known good one and it didn't help.

is there a seperate relay of common place for the wiring to fail at other than the connecter in the driver side foot well?

Try whacking the CCRM and see what happens. Also check for voltage at the IFS switch in the trunk. Note that with the car not running you'll only see voltage in the fuel pump ckt for a second or so after key on unless you jump the test connector to energize the fuel pump ckt full-time. You may end up having to probe the FP ckt starting with the relay feed from the PCM to CCRM and then the power feed from the CCRM all the way back to the pump. If the wires to the FP have chaffed at all they may be shorted to ground.

And of course, check the fuse.

Why did you replace the IMRC? The secondaries wouldn't have any impact on the fuel pump.

my manual refers to is as IRCM and CCRM either way I found it to be the 30 amp PCM fuse and it is popping because of my torque converter switch.

see http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=82051 becasue i'm stumped as to why it is pulling so many amps.

I also had a bad batery ground and now my lights are brighter :) :sun:
