So long story short, I heard what sounded like my BOV continually venting. Looked around, found a hose popped off the rear lower turbo (on what I think is part of the wastegate. It’s a small cylinder about 2-3” diameter and 1” thick with a hose barb). It was a little loose to stay back on itself, so I clamped it down with a hose clamp. Thought I fixed the problem until the next day when I heard the car venting boost again. Jacked the car back up and the hose tore itself off right above the hose clamp.

What’s causing so much pressure in the line that could rip the line apart? I’m just LMS 3bar tuned with down pipe/exhaust and intake. No codes.

Usually from oil. Pull it off completely and check for tears on the side you cant see. Maybe look at replacing the entire intake system with a metal set. Oil deteriorates rubber

I don’t think oil deteriorated the hose to the point that it sheared a hose. I feel it would have crumbled in my hand as I was putting the hose clamp on if that was the case. Not saying oil didn’t weaken it a little, but there must be something else clogged/malfunctioning to the point where the pressure is too much and that hose is the weakest link…right??

Also, now that I re-read your post, you may have misunderstood. It’s not the plastic intake/turbo piping. It’s a rubber vacuum/pressure hose that hooks onto (what I think is) the wastegate.
