Anyone know if there are the correct impedance to use with the SHO's fuel computer? And what else would need to be modified to make them work?

They are 30lbers. You will need something to calibrate them with the comp; Tweecer, LPM, something.

turbo coupe injectors are 35lb/hr. they are brown tops.

That coul dbe true. I was thinking SUPER COUPE. There in lies the difference. Regardless of what the flow rate is you will have to change the prograning accordingly, but I guess it helps to know what flow rate to calibrate for.

4-cylinder 2.3L Thunderbird Turbo Coupe injectors are low impedance peak/hold units, they will not function properly with the SHO EEC's high impedance injector drivers.

They are low impedance. They are all 30lb (green top), except the '87/'88 (identified by the small turbo, top mount intercooler, and hood scoops) are 35lb (brown top).

What do you have done to your Merk? I'm in the process of getting my TC running properly before I do any modding. I've been reading on natomessageboard.com and turboford.org

Thanks that was exactly the answer I was looking for. I'll have to find something else in that case. :thumb:

My XR has a number of mods:

3" mandrel bent exhaust (no cat or muffler), Ported/Polished head, Gutted uppper intake and Knife edge lower, 57 trim T3/T4, LA3 (from '88 Turbocoupe), Big VAM, Cold air intake, 40bob log header, Gillis valve set @ 20psi, Forge BOV, Mustang SVO T5, Conquest FMIC. I've got pics if you would like to see them.

I've put down 265 to the wheels. You oughtta check out merkursport.com. It's more Merkur specific, but we support all 2.3s. Not sure if you've been following my posts, but I'm building another XR with a twin turbo SHO V6.
