also when tuning as tim had said the idea is to keep it around 1.0, (now i might have these backwards its been awhile) if you go below 1 your rich and above its lean double check it before doing what i said.
i highly recommend getting its about dead nuts on before touching the maf.. dont tune the maf to make up for wrong injector slopes only use the maf to make up for small changes, sometimes people have a hard time getting this concept and take the easy way out and do the maf more then they should.
also dont forget to add some to the injector vs batt volt setting.
almost all your tuning is just in the high and low slopes next is the injector vs batt and lastly maf.
thats for the fuel side.
always remove at least 2-3 degrees of timing from the stock map for every pound of boost since your trying to tune safely until you find a dyno. and besides you dont wanna try and tune out any det with extra fuel.. then when you hit the dyno you tune for power and end up being rich from you trying to remove and det earlier. then your trying to tune your fuel and spending all the dyno time.. its best to tune the fuel with safe timing, then tune the timing for extra power after.
after all your fuel settings are good you can go ahead and play with fuel maps such as WOT fuel maps and the like.
the reason i dont recommend playing with the maf so much is when you do these setting are much harder to get what you want and the other setting can be off for things like temp related settings for example
i also recommend higher idle for a few reasons.. the engine dont get much oil pressure which your engine dont like and depending how your setup the turbo or whatever dont get much oil pressure and seeing how most turbos like upwards of 20+ oil psi at min its a better idea to keep that thing oiled...
also adjust the fan settings a few degrees lower since it also helps keep unhood temps down and well that can always be a good thing with all the exhaust piping.
also playing around with the secondaries can move the power around how you would want it.
these are really all i play with in tuning..
this is the order to tune.
timing.
fuel (slopes etc)
maps
any other table or setting you wanna play with.
i know the first time around tuning can be hard but after you get the general idea you pick it up fast.
i still dont recommend the tweecer but thats my opinion
