When you're ready, let me know. If your car is driveable and in near stock form, now is a good time for practice tuning. It may help you better understand what you are doing before making major changes for the boost.

A 3.2L with stock injectors is pretty much considered 'stock' in tuning talk. Now is the time to learn/practice as you'll find you'd pretty much have to try to blow up the motor right now. Once boost happens, it can blow up on accident. Let me know if you need some help.

anyone know what to put in for the engine displacement on a 3.2l? its saying 182.144 right now.
also, im wondering since theres an on and an off rev limit your supposed to put them both at the same tics? or is one the soft cutoff and im supposed to put the hard cutoff at somethin higher?

hey mitch if your maf curve is working well you might have to send it to me. im pretty sure the maf i have right now isnt from a mark viii. i think its a conti. ill let you know tho once i get the maf and tweecer put on.

Are you running the D4U1 strategy? you need to put the engine displacement at 195.something... I actually haven't reinstalled caledit since I installed vista! I'll have to reinstall it tomorrow and let you know.

The first rev limiter is the fuel cutoff. Theoretically if the second limiter is hit, then the engine enters "hard fault" mode (aka Limp mode) until you shut it off. I have my RL1 set at 7500rpm (I have UDPs) and the RL1 off set at 7400. My RL2 is set at 8000rpm.

I think it's 195.2 cid for the 3.2, but putting in 195 will be good enough. Also as far as the hard limiter, you will almost NEVER hit it, that limiter you hit that you might think is the "hard" limiter, is just the soft limiter. What hawk said, when you hit the hard limiter the engine goes oh crap, and goes into limp mode, I really don't even know how you would hit the hard limiter. You would have to have one **** of a clutch and have one nasty misshift. But to answer your question IIRC I have both the limiters set to the same number.

actually i just opened the d4u1 file and the engine displacement says 2118.34????

im guessing its in a different unit. i dont understand why the d4u1 file has no units column in the scalars.

I should have a guide out very soon. I will run it by Josh and Adam before posting as I'm sure I'll forget stuff. It's amazing how many words you can use to 'splain stuff as this.

I'd like to start playing with my TwEECer R/T soon too. I've got my car back, and the rebuilt motor runs really smoothly, but I think I can squeeze a little more power out of it, or at least tune for the unusual set of modifications my engine has:

It's a 9:1 compression 3.2 with 3.0 cams, 3.2 injectors, EH intake and the heads have been port matched to the intake. I've also got an 80mm MAF (not sure which version off the top of my head) that I'd like to add, but I know they're not plug-and-play.

I'm mostly lost as well. I got my Tweecer so I could run a turbo in the future, but I think I'll get a hang of tuning before I get the rest of the turbo parts.

This motor is begging for boost!

Yeah, I know Adam (Axianator) is around; I see him on FB frequently but he's basically abandoned the SHO scene (check out when his last post was...) so I wouldn't expect anything out of him. I suppose if you need something coded in Python, though...
