Had a blast, well worth the 6 hour drive.

And I thought you drove 6 hours just to get plugged. :p

Glad you had a good time, this was the type of meet I wish we had every time. :thumb:

That almost doesn't sound right.
Well Beth you were tellin' us about the guy you got Spock from... who knows what kind of memories are back there (ew gross).
How about just driving it? I've still never gotten to drive a MTX. I know what my stock ATX(even silencer and old paper filter) is like.
That's a deal Willie... never even driven a 3rd gen. I just wanna feel that thing pull cause I know what times you ran at Lapeer. Maybe we'll have to arrange a track day sometime in the near future as I wanna get to the track a few more times before the end of the year.
I wish jim would have told me the chcik that woke me up and was 2 inches from my face was a hottie . So now does anyone have an ideas on how to get my pos back home?
Of course she was a hottie Greg... did you expect anything less from my household? How do you plan on getting your poor car back home Greg? Also, let me know when you're close to town to get it so I can give you your digicam back... I didn't even know it was in my car.

yea i'm home safe and sound. Funny thing was when beth says to me :so when you going to have me put a quaife in your car". Then perry should me my diff pins out of my last 200 mile tranny. Then she decides welp i don't wanna work anymore so F you i'm throwing a diff pin. It always happens right after i fix something on the car. SO new addiage is mod the **** out of it and fix the broken stuff when it breaks. Everytime i try a crack at preventive maintence something breaks. Also one more thing i almost lost to atx so i have to give the old plus everything she had. That damn atx is friggin fast:bonk: Beth i'll be giving you a call soon for your engine support cause thew tranny's coming out and you'll get to work your magic on my next tranny. Also while she's down she getting a FEW mods...hehe...jim your done for buddy. In closing i'd like to say thank you for everyone would helped with my 60k and matt for hosting this event which was awesome and tri satte regs who helped me out last night in getting my car to a safe spot and jim for letting me crash at his place. I wish jim would have told me the chcik that woke me up and was 2 inches from my face was a hottie :****: . So now does anyone have an ideas on how to get my pos back home?

probley getting a tow dolly this weekend. I have to call around and try and rent one.

Greg, not that I'm one to volunteer services or anything, but Bill has a big truck. Maybe if you asked him he'd help you get the car back to Roseville. Also, did you perhaps consider getting a tranny done real quick like and see if maybe we could all pitch in and just swap it out while it's in Monroe? I'd drive down to help with the job for sure (on a weekend) now that I'm mobile. Just things to consider, hang in there bud. We'll get ya fixed up.

Well golly gee whizz Greg, I wonder where you'd get a tranny. :bonk:

Clear it with all parties involved, if all is good I'll help. Lord only knows I just went through the processes so it's all fresh in my mind. As long as it falls on a weekend I'm good to go.

Well, Jason and I made the two hour long drive back to Portage in the rain, with a quick 45 minute nap at a rest stop. We were going to join you guys for the 'spirited driving' but everyone took off before Jason got out of the driveway. The drive back here to Rockford with Jason was an absolute blast. We were going in and out of traffic pretty nicely at around 80-90 from Portage all the way into Indiana. Nothin exciting happened in Indiana, due to the lame 65 mph speed limit. But, once we hit Chicago, and got stopped in traffic, we got kinda angry. So, once that cleared up, again we were up to our 80-90 MPH antics. Great fun. And in case you were wondering, the cams do work. About 10-15 miles outside of our exit for Rockford, we had an open road, and we went from an 80mph roll. I got a slight jump, but only by a fender and Jason stayed right there the whole time until about 6k, which he started to pull me slightly, and I let off due to traffic. Great times.

Yep, that about summed it up perfectly! :thumb:

I think Chuck took it with him. If he doesnt have it then it went in the trash. When I cleaned the garage there were no sheets left.

Speaking of which...here are some tools that were left behind........

Greg....you left two wrenches and 2 60k tools.

Chris....You left a bearing behind...dont know if it is needed right away or not for your tranny. If you need it right away let me know and I could either send it to you or meet you somewhere!!!! :thumb:

Chuck.....hehe you left one socket. :bonk: I dont know if ya miss it or not but just wanted to let ya know!

no way there mine and i'll come get them this weekend matt when i come down and find out what i am going to do about my car. Beth if the diff is savable could we just toss another case half on it and some new roll pins for the diff. That's if it's savable. Beth it would be a weekend project, since i work mon-fri. I'll let you know on the details. I need my sho back and it's only been 2 days. My exhaust fell off my oldsmobeater today and it's now ghettofied with some coat hangers. God sometimes i just love beater cars. :squint:

No it was tossed I am sure. It was laying on the bench when people were cleaning up.. I just used it to figure what shims I used from you and from Bill. No real specs on it. I didnt even write all the sizes I used down.
