I own a shop that does old school radiator repair, but since you can't buy plastic tanks anymore, we quit trying to repair aluminum radiators with plastic tanks. Just buy a new one.
What's up timber:) sorry I did not see your response. I pulled the radiator out a couple days ago and judging by the way it looks, I would say it is come cheap aftermarket unit that the previous owner installed. It is plastic. Not surprised. I have a lead on a some radiators on rock autos website that look decent. I like your SHO by the way. I owned an Oxford White one with the black leather for 19 years then sold it. Now I own the least desirable color combo ever on an SHO lol. But hey at least I own a first gen which my opinion is the best gen ever.

It's not a green and tan sho.... That is the least desirable by far....

...and I do happen to own one currently.

My favorite color for the first gen was that light metallic silver that the very first sho ever produced had. The 89's had the LX wheel., loved it! Very hard to find. My favorite color for the second gen cars would be the midnight blue with the gray leather. Another car that is hard to find.

Do you mean Royal blue? Royal blue was 92-93 and Moonlight Blue was 94-95. I have a Moonlight Blue 95. I prefer it over the Royal blue.

My favorite is my Oxford white 91+ though.

Now I'm jealous lol. I miss my 91 Oxford White SHO:( Had it for 19 years. Had to replace a water pump on it and I will never forget that repair. Looks like you whited out the black trim. I kept mine original. I wish I had a white one but I can say at least I own a first gen:) Your cars are beautiful Chad! Bravo to you brother.

I attached pictures of my Oxford White Cream Puff That car is now owned by an adamant collector in Southern California. I am from New York so imagine that car going clear across country on a hauler. I had it up for sale for 2 days and it was sold that quick. One of the pictures shows the last day I ever saw it in person when it was being loaded onto a hauler bound for California. I walked home literally with tears. What a symbolic moment. I would give anything to have it back. This is why I bought the Currant Red 91 I have now. But we move on they say and make new memories.

No, that's actually one of the traits of the Plus package. My 91 is a 91+. No black stripe on the body but the mirrors and pillars are blacked out from the factory. There are a few other things that make up the Plus package.

I would never have guessed that was a plus. Very rare car you have. I don't see a cowl hood though? Also false alarm on the wheel key. I popped a couple center caps off tonight when I got home and there are no locks on the wheels so I jumped the gun and I apologize for that. But I appreciate all of for help Chad.
