Tranny is in..another prob?

well got the tranny in fine all cables connected fine. went to push on the clutch in and it seems soft untill about half way then it gets stiff. I dont have the cj joints/subframe up yet. when i let off the clutch it goes up but not all the way.? any info would help.

I don't own an MTX, nor know what you have done. But, have you tried to adjust the clutch cable, ie. pulling up on it untill it clicks, maybe it is out of adjustment?
