my buddy has an '89 SHO MTX. He said it kind of slips on him? This is not common in MTX's is it? When he let's off the clutch the rpm's stay up and it's like it has no power until something catch's all the way. kind of like the clutch is taking a second to catch. Now, the clutch catch's pretty high anyways. could this be the prob? Also when he starts out there's a faint grinding sound coming from the center console until he get's up to 30mph or so. and he's lost alot of power since he first got her.

too many things that could be wrong. hoping you guys can narrow it down for us. if anymore info is needed lemme know.
