Tourqing intake bolts

Is it necessary to tourque the intake bolts? If so how many ft-llbs??

I kinda dont want to pound it back on.

Yes, it is necessary as the intake and the cylinder heads are aluminum. You do NOT want to strip anything. The spec is 11-17 ft lbs. I usually torque to 15 ft lbs.

Give me a break! I put those babies back in with the impact on setting 1, lowest, and I know it is at least 15 ft lbs.....no time for torquing! :biggrin:

Not a good idea. Sure, it may work for now. We should always strive to give good, sound advice in this section. If torque specs weren't important then they wouldn't exist.
