For the past 2 years,my front tires have worn evenly. Now,since just April, the outter edge of both front tires is worn completely bald, inner and middles are fine. The only thing i have done i can think of to cause this was the addition of a front stb this season.Has this happened to anyone else?

Might be that the bar is pushing the towers outward too much causing the wheels to go: \--/? shrug

I made sure that when I put mine on that it has a slight inward pull.

Just my initial thoughts, sorry I couldn't be of more help.

BTW, you still in the polishing business? If so, I'm interested in getting my intake done. PM or e-mail me when you get a chance. TIA!

Thats what I was thinking... But I would have also did an alignment after installing the STB.

C'mon, you think JT would think of that one all by his lonesome? :p

What worn out suspension components do you have that need replacing?

Also, JT you've got plenty of time on your hands just like me (well, when you're not out with Kirk doing cam welds). Do a little research on the net and/or pick up some performance handling books that touch on the subject and learn the art of home suspension alignment. If you've got the patience to sit and polish knobs all day you can certainly sit outside with some string and a calculator for an afternoon.

No worn suspension what so ever.New tie rod ends, half shafts, intermediate bearing, end links, control arms, struts(Tokico),and strut bearings.I do completely blame the way the bar is set up,it is pushing the wheels out too hard in the turns.Like i said,it always wore perfect, then with the bar on,the tires wore right down in 3 months.I guess i`ll just put on new tires this week, and yank the bar.The car's not going to be mine for long anyway.

If the tires are wearing like that then it is not aligned properly irregardless of what you have added.
