I just want to thank two members that have helped me a great deal not only with their wealth of "SHO knowledge", but also for getting me badly needed parts to get the SHO on the road.
Justin (foxwulfe) and Perry (pjtoledo) have been great to deal with and are great people to know. Justin has helped me with numerous encounters. He drove all the way to Toledo twice in one week, just to help me get the tranny (that he provided as well as a wealth of other parts) in and get the SHO going. He's also talked me through many problems I've come apon when doing various repairs. If anyone needs to talk to someone that knows his sheot or needs work done on a SHO it's this guy.
Perry is another great guy who thankfully lives less than a mile away from my lair. Without his help today in getting me a new spindle to get me back on the road after a fryed wheelbearing I don't know how I would have gotten to work or school in the next few days. Perry is also one who knows his sheot and does a great job of SHOing someone how something works as well as tips for easier installation and de-installation.
I just wanted to let these gentleman know how much I appreciate all the help that they've given me and to acknowledge them as the great members SHOforum has in both of them.

I agree with you more than 200% on both. Justin drove all the way to Michigan to install my subframe connectors and did a wonderful job. Perry...well, he worked all day and most of the night once to help me get back on the road. I owe both of them a great deal.

It's great to know them both, however it's even better to call them friends.

You're ptobably right but at least he can remember that he drives a SHO. He certainly didn't forget that the 3.2 block in his basement was still his even though I wanted to take it home.

I've got an extra 3.2 motor complete except the intake over in CT. Did you need one?

I don't need one but if I come across one for the right price I'd like to pick one up as a summer project. Rebuild the thing and maybe put it in the plus. Who knows it all depends on my cashflow as I am a poor college student who's livelyhood depends on when people want fertilizer, grass seed or other lawn products and equipment, or when they want a pizza delivered to their front door.

The motor may be sold already, but if it's not I'll let you know. You do realize it's in CT right Greg? wink

Hmmm, wonder if the tranny Justin got ya is my old one?? Figures, just as you get rid of a tranny that works great, you get a car that needs one bad!! Thats how luck goes with me.

Sean

p.s. glad ya got her runnin, maybe next time we meet you will actually be in a SHO (not the passenger seat of another)!! finger

Yeah Sean we should organize a small local meet in Toledo once it starts warming up. You've seen in person the quality rice that runs around here. A bunch of "The Monroe Boys" have been stopping down lately and it would be sweet to roll Chris', plus, Ryan's plus your plus, and my plus. A few 2nd gens from Monroe and there is a Green plus with MI plates that runs around here sometime too. Heck everyone would be invtied. We'll call it "SHOPack Toledo Tour 04". BTW it was Justin's "Personal Transmission" that I was told came out of an 89'. I also got Justin's "personal halfshafts" but the guy still baffles me (inside joke :D ).
