as the title says, i did it and it seems to be working (cross your fingers) the mount and button had broken rivets and it looks like it should now. anybody else tryed this, long term results?

I used JB Weld in my old car and it held up for over 4 years until I sold it.
Why not do the Contour power window switch mod? Even tho it is done, the switch is like 5 bucks at a junk yard and not too terribly hard to do. Wiring Diagram and picture here![]()
Because I couldn't drill holes through the pins, and I can't solder for shit. I tried it, the switch worked..but it was rough, and probably wouldn't have lasted.

yeah my mom wanted to drive the SHO the other day, and when I went to drive it afterwards she had apparently pushed the button through the thing and believe me, I was ******...
I hate when that happens. I love it when they don't tell you it happened and you end up finding out yourself.

I let my mom borrow my SHO for a few weeks last summer, she's the one who pushed my button through too. Once I discovered that I switched cars and let her borrow the slo over the next couple weeks
