Hey guys, just a quick update. I got my red supercharged 92 back on
the road and its back in action. I took it to work and impressed my
coworkers with Mike D's powdercoating job. I also had me a couple of
races in front of the hangar at work.

1) 03 mustang cobra (stock supercharger)= got him by 3 to 4 cars.

2) 03 Z06 corvette (minor upgrades) = got him by 2 to 3 cars.

3) ducatti monster crotch rocket (exhaust) = got him by 2 cars.

4) 03 corvette automatic (stock) = beat him by 6 to 7 cars

All in all it was a fun time during lunch at work at 2 in the am.
supervisors, formans, and co-workers were on the sidelines cheering
on. Gotta love it!

p.s. Tranny just lost 5 years of its life and its only 5 days old.

Good to hear it's back terrorizing the streets up there. It's amazing how a 3K dollar taurus with about 15 grand dumped into it will smoke several 40K+ dollar sports cars with ease. I want a ride in it next time I'm up there, so I can compare to the last ride about 150 hp ago :D

I thought that you had some sort of custom gearset being made besides josh's set. Something about flexing metal and then it reforming, or something like that, but I can't quiet remember. Or am I wrong?

Very sweet. Doing exactly what those things are made for, taking names and kicking some overpriced sports car butt! Glad to hear it's back on the road.

That was me shoguy, the metal is very real but the guy doing the work backed out on me. I'll have to find someone else to do it.

Thanks Tim. I shot peened third gear before I installed the tranny together. I don't know if that did anything, but I ran it hard the last couple of days and its been holding up. Hope you're tranny don't let go anytime soon. :frown:
