My 2016 SHO threw some codes on Monday on my way home from work. The codes were P0011, P0016, P0301, P0316 and P04DB. Now it has had a code for the PCV system for a few weeks that I've been working on and it keeps coming on intermittently and going back off.
This was new however, the check engine light was flashing and the engine lost power. It didn't last long but it did happen twice.
I took the battery out to have it tested as I know low batteries can cause all kinds of issues with these cars and while the battery did test good it had half the CCA that it should and needed to be charged.
I've charged the battery but I have not put the battery back in the car yet.
The car has almost 67K miles on it and until I had the last oil change done (first time I've ever had it done by a shop) I have never had any issues or codes pop up on it. I had planned on changing the oil this coming weekend. I'm almost 56 and I have NEVER let a shop change my oil, my wife talked me into it and now says"you will never let anyone change your oil again will you?" NO
Thankfully I do have a 100K mile power train warranty on the car but was hoping that this was a battery issue, what do you guys think?
