Hey guys.
I had just put my 93 ATX SHO on jack stands yesterday, and I noticed a dangling cable that looked like it was a ground cable for the batter or something. It was black and it was just hanging by the oil pan, starter area.
Can anyone tell me just how many cables there should be hooked on to the starter and where the **** does this one go!!! I followed it up to the battery so I'm assuming it's a ground or something. Let me know. Thanks,
Rem

E gads! Put your tongue on it to see if it has any current. If your car is starting and running, this would be an unusual situation to have an extra cable. Could it be from a previous shop visit to replace a starter or battery cable?

Hey Scott. Would the tongue technique be a good idea for testing my coil pack? Sounds kinda painful!!!
