ok so the other day i was in springfield and i hit a bump doing around 30. i was trying to avoid it but there was oncoming traffic and there was no room to move. anyway im driving home and the car starts to make this weird echoing noise at speeds around 35-40 i think it might be a bad belt or something but im not sure. anyone ever have this problem or something like it.

"Echoing noise"? Echoing what? A bit more info needed. If it is a direct result of hitting a road problem, I would think something in the suspension is more likely than something in (or on) the engine.

I'd get under there and inspect your exhaust. If it's not an exhaust issue my next guess would be a suspension thing, as Newberg suggested.

Hmmm. OK, that is starting to sound like something body wise is loose and air is moving where it is not supposed to. So getting under there and looking is still going to be needed. Might be some of the plastic in the wheel wheels broken or cracked and air bouncing around, something like that.
