Okay, I went to the drags this past weekend. On my second run of the night when I was shifting into 2nd gear, my car pulled really hard to the left for some reason. I didn't really think anything of it until I later noticed that my steering wheel is not straight any more. The steering wheel is turned about 1/4 turn to the right, but everything else seems to be fine. My car runs perfectly straight down the road too.....but the steering wheel is turned??? Also, I took a look under the car and it seems like the sway bar has slid over to the right (passengers side) about 2 inches.
What do you think caused this, and how do I fix it?? Has this ever happended to anyone else here? I'd appreciate any help you can offer!!!:nut:

check your subframe mounts, see if any bolts have broken, or bushings are in bad shape...mine are, at WOT i can feel the subframe shifting. if you peel back your passenger side carpet(or driver, although it is harder to do), you should see a rubber cap near 3" round...that means that the subframe recall has been done on your car...keep in mind that doesnt mean that your bushings are still good.

I was having problems with my subframe a while back.. someone said that same thing, check if the recall was done, pulled the cap, looked in and saw no bolt.. but a hole.. even with the recall done the bolt had unwound and the bushing fell out :bonk:
