alright, well i have had a aftermarket HU in my sho for over a year now and then all of a sudden one day i start getting all this static through the speakers... so i take it apart to chekc for a loose wire or something...put it back together and now...nothing.... no sound at all...if i jiggle the wires in the back though, still static will come through everynow and then..not always. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!

Do you have the stock amps bypassed? If not, they probably just kiked the bucket. All you'll need to do to fix it is pick up the amp bypass harness so that you can use your head unit's internal amplifier.

With an amplifier bypass harness installed, you are effectively running wires straight to the speakers. If they do not work even when doing that, the internal amplifier in your head unit is probably bad.
