Hello all. I need to pick your extremely knowledgeable brains once more! Sadly my car's starter motor seems to have failed (get the click when I turn the key, battery ok). My question is two-fold. One, is the starter for the SHO the same as the regular Taurus from 87 to 1991? Secondly is the starter the same for both the gen 1 and gen 2 SHOs? I am inclined to think that the starters for the gen 1 and gen 2 are different.

Any info that you can provide would be golden as there are virtually no parts here in Vancouver and I'm buggered without the starter.

Thanks all.

Hello Jay,
That would be perfect. I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada and unfortunately our postal system is disastrously slow. It is my only car so I am in a bit of a pickle. How much is it to mail to postal code V2X 0P7? If its not too bad I will probably buy it off of you.
Cheers...
