Those of you who have both Stainless Steel brake lines and PBR (BAER, COBRA, BULLITT, MACH1.. you get it) Calipers. Are your brake hoses still a tad too short for the PBR Calipers?

The stock brake hose is a tad short, and most members leave the brackets loose or zip tie em on.

I was curious if I should ask for the TAURUS application or should I ask for the application of a different vehicle.

Thanks,

Gen II stainless lines will fit the calipers fine, and are just long enough -- on a Gen II. With the Earls lines, we find removing the stock spring reliefs give all the extra slack needed. Since the Gen II stainless lines won't fit the Gen III cars, this is kind of moot. Only real options are custom lines, or go with Cobra lines and re-flare and extend the Gen III hard lines about 3" and use the right adapter so they fit the Cobra lines.

Chris has anyone tried the Taurus SS hoses on the rear calipers of the GenIII? Are they long enough and are the threaded ends the same?

I would like to know also if the rear GEN 2 lines fit the Gen 3. I have heard they do.

Earl's lines are proven to work on Gen I's or are there fitment issues?

Some say they had issues on the fronts with travel length and therefore did not attach the spring loaded mounting bracket to the body and just used zip ties to get the proper length without the bracket hanging down. On my GenI I installed the brackets and didn't have any issues.

Sal, talk to your boy Matt A. He knows of a shop out there that will custom fabricate a set for your Gen 3 for a little more than what an Earl's set would cost you. At least you'd know for sure that it'd fit and not rip out the first time you have full extension of the suspension.

Lets say it won't be a group buy... But I'll go down there this next month, and get some made, who ever wants some... Will get a set.

I'll most likely be making a compete set, all four.
