Ok when I started my car yesterday a weird Squeeky noise came from the area around the pasenger side firewall, it squeeked about 3 or 4 times, then went away. It now does this all the time when I start the car from a cold startup. The squeek only occurs (from what I can tell) after about 10 to 30 seconds after the car has been started with the engine cold. I can never hear it while driving around, only on a cold startup.

I know that I have a coolant leak commin from somewhere in the nether reaches of the passenger side firewall, and that the coolant is burning up on one of the cats (makes me wanna  everytime I look under the hood to figure out where it's comming from).

Could this squeek be related to the coolant leak, as in when the car is started, it pushes the air in the line from the leaky spot out, then continues to leak coolant?

No way it could be the water pump, it was replaced by a really good mechanic that I would trust with any car I would ever own. The new pump is only like 1500miles (2months) old, and when the mech (Mike) replaced it, he replaced all the connecting gaskets for it, even though they only had about 8000miles on them. Plus, the coolant is burning out on part of the rear of the engine or on one of the cats, not around the timming belt cover like when the H2O pump went out. Also, the squeek noise only occurs when the engine is started, not constant, when the pump died.

As for overheating, the highest it's been is the top of the 'R.' I have noticed that it is loosing coolant, but its doing so at a slow rate, just enough to **** me off by making me feel sick when I smell it burning up.
