Hey Folks,

The speedometer on my '95 MTX reads about 4 to 5 mph lower than I am really going. I checked it against a couple of radar units. I am running stock slicers with p225 55r16 tires. Anyone know of a way to correct the diviation. I drive at the limits of getting a ticket most of the time and my Veterans plate have gottn me out of a few tickets but I don't want to push it any further.

I know just drive 4 or 5 mph slower but I am way too used to using the needle at the proper point to stay just below the 10 mph over for a ticket.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

There is a tire size speed calculator somewhere posted on this forum, try and Google it. My 60 size tires have been worn down to about 55 size and I'm off about 2-4mph. When I am going 25 the needle has to be about a needle-width above the 25mark.
