Spare tire subwoofer

I know few people have made a sub enclosure that fits in the spare tire spot. Is there anyplace that sells them pre done?

JL had one but it's discontinued.

Are you handy? I have made my own before, fiberglass is really not super hard to work with. Just be sure to cover everything to keep from making a mess and use plenty of release agent so you can get it out.

I am, but i get impatient and it wont come out good.

Not the same year but mine just had a standard box cut into the spare tire cover

If you are willing to spend JL money you should be able to have a custom one made by a reputable shop. Where are you located?

I dig the old school Sound Stream sub

Guess that picture doesn’t show much but that box sits down on the floor of the spare tire holder and the covers been cut to fit exactly and reinforced around the square. Dates to like 96 I believe lol shit still pounds
