Hello all,

I am the son of an 1996 SHO owner in the Vancouver, BC area. Unfortunately my father suffered some medical issues, and now he's gone from driving his beloved car 6 months ago to living in a care facility. It has fallen upon me to sell it in order to gain funds towards his care, and thus I've joined to try and learn more about what the vehicle is truly worth.

Am I right to think the Gauging Interest forum is where I want to go next? The car does have a few issues, I'm reviewing other threads to see if they are items I can fix myself.

Wish I could help, never owned a V8 SHO but I do believe 96, the first year is the most desirable.

Your best bet is to contact Stephen Newberg, a moderator in the V8 section, and from your vicinity.

The one that sold in my small town went at around $3000.00 and with the Ontario taxes the number goes to about $3400.00.
They are great cars, but do not have the love component, perhaps due to the cam failure issues, and radical (at the time) styling.
