Could be any number of things. Bad plug, wires, fuel injectors the list goes on. Can you be a little more specific??

Run the codes and come back with the readings. Could be several things. There are posts on how to obtain computer codes. Run a search here to find out how to do this yourself.

Very likely a secondary ignition problem: plugs or wires. Pull the front three plug boots and check for oil in the plug wells. If no oil, then how long have the wires been installed? The plugs? What type of plugs are in there? Wires?

I was just about to make a post about this. My '93 MTX is soon to be gone. The car is ******* me off, I can live with the:

--bogging on anything past 1/2 throttle (yes, now 1/2)
--nasty oil smell which makes me sick
--and all the other little things.

BUT, now it seems anytime I shift gears the car jerks until you accelerate further (I have been driving a stick for over 7 years now) and I hate 5 speeds (PITA!).

P.S. anyone around or near Erie, PA who has an ATX wanting a MTX is more than welcome to come look at my one owner car, make me an offer or trade otherwise this car is gonna go soon and there will be one less '93 MTX on the roads.

Here is the info:
--1993 MTX 112,000 miles
--One owner
--New Dunlop tires (4)
--New antenna
--New fuel filter
--New rear brakes (rotors and pads)
--all original keys, manuals...(might possibily be able to get receipts!)
--New 180 degree thermostat (fresh coolant)
--New foglight bulbs (2) and switch (lights in switch do work)
--The only problems are mentioned above and I believe the problem is the fuel pump and the gaskets mentioned (car will need spark plugs also).
--1 year eagle warranty covers most items (except sensors and other normal wear and tear items)
--White with white slicers
--Remote keyless entry (2fobs), keypad entry
--tan leather
--I have $3500 into the car including everything (receipts), so that is what the price will start at. It was a one owner car from Clarion, PA and if it will make the sale I will have the valve cover gaskets and plug wells redone (as they leak) although don't think you are gonna have me do all this work and bargain on the price.
