I like your darker tint - when I had the lights tinted I went very light grey, sided on not causing others to say they couldn't see my lights.

Thanks for sharing.

The LED taillights are bright enough to see through the dark tint, but I also added another 3rd brake light. And yes, before you ask, I did disconnect the original 3rd brake light so you can't see it anymore lolA1e6668f6c83c5ae4891018e90c168e522ee4dc1a5e02d6aacf3779eadec80f0Abff1a91d2fee2a12500373016e4c1f8

I really like that third brake light. Did you custom make it? The manuf one is sucky anyways.

No, I bought it online. I just tried looking it up to give you the link, but it looks like they are no longer in business.

Asked Brad to firm up my shifts as they have been feeling a bit soft for my taste. He sent a revision to try and it felt even softer and I was datalogging the run. Turns out boost dropped on the shift instead of your typical spike and boost dropped to 12 psi. Wastegate duty cycle was at 100% and throttle wide open... hmmm. Sounds like a boost leak. Bypass valves have zero evidence of defects, no visual cracks or tears detected in the boost pipes and all connections are tight. Looks like I will be pressure checking the boost side of the plumbing.

Boost solenoid, check valves, exhaust leak pre-turbine and wastegates are all potential sources as well. Fun times ahead...

Sorry to hear, yeah boost leaks are a pita. Noise delete? No? Check those connections.

I watched this today, I thought it would be a good place to put it so everyone would keep it in mind.
Check those filters.

Out there somewhere
FYI - The filters on the FWD engine are completely different from the RWD engine. FWD filter is in the banjo fitting at the turbo. RWD filter screws into the block at the beginning of the oil line. FWD filter is 1/2 to 2/3 smaller than RWD filter.

This looks like fun! Get to watch high dollar cars run them hard. Sad part is I don't think our cars would be fast enough just to qualify for the slowest class. I dunno, how much more mph would you get over the 1/4 mile trap speed? 1/3 mile from a 60ish roll.

I wouldn't pay the entry fee to race anyhow but would love to watch.

I still have stock boost pipes but with the MKS throttle body pipe to eliminate the noisemaker. Installed it years ago. Pressure checked the boost pipes today from the turbos to the throttle body. Zero leaks at 22 psi didn't try any higher because I did not want to push my luck and burst a pipe. Expected to hear at least a slight leak but nothing and it held pressure. Bypass valves obviously held pressure as well. Hoses look like they expand a bit at 22 psi...

On to the next step....

Pretty sure some of us could qualify. I don't think stock it would by any means. The pp cars might have a slight advantage here

Not technically - a WONDERFUL and detailed resource page is FTW - For The Workshop - the blogger shows that based on 1/4 the gear ratio of the PP - is actually slower in 1/4 mile timings. This is a wonderful page to learn about the Taurus transmission.

Well, my apologies @kryptto I apparently always had that backwards about the sho. I thought the pp had the potential for the higher top speed, but I stand corrected. However, I'll have to correct you as well. This isn't a 1/4 mile race. It's a 1/3 of a mile and starting from a roll. So I still feel pretty certain that some could potentially top 130 mph with that in mind.

Out of curiosity I checked some numbers trying to give a best guestimate on what I may run. My best 0 to 60mph of 4.0 seconds flat took 200 feet according to draggy. 1/3 of a mile is 1760 feet or 440 feet longer than 1320. So basically I would have an additional 640 feet to accelerate from a dig if I add in the 200' it took me to get to 60mph.

We all know acceleration rate slows as we go down the track. On average mph goes up roughly 25% in the last half (660) feet of 1320. The question is what is the acceleration rate in the additional 640' I have? With aerodynamics and being in high gear I think it would be far less than the 25% gain I got in the last half of the 1320. I would need just over 16% to hit 130mph.
While my car may not qualify I do agree that there are many here that would. :hi5:
Certainly those trapping 120 plus in the 1/4.

Any idea what kind of HP/torque increase this provides? And would this fit a 2019 SHO PP?

With supporting mods should be able to hit 500 awhp pretty safely. Yes they’ll fit a 2019. A lot of times ppl advertise 2011+ instead of 2010 and I’ve seen some things listed to only 2016 it’s just that the listing was likely never updated

Just call Lethal... like @802SHO said should be all taurus years. Time to tune the car as well. If you need someone to get a price to tune remote check my signature.
