Just found out form a buddy of mine (in the FOP) that the PPD is using a red Dodge Charger R/T for undercover work. It was taken during a recent drug bust. It has been seen on the highway and on city streets egging people to street race. Once you go for it he lets you pass and on come the lights. All the lights are hidden due to tinted windows.


SHOfourm does not condone street racing in any manner and I am aware of that - But for you Providence folks - keep your eyes out and take it easy with your street manners with the throttle.

Correct - i'm sure they are giving out speeding tickets for the time being. Not only that - they do the regular backround check to make sure everything is up to par. If not - off to jail or vehicle impound. :woo-hoo:

I wanna say that they are going more after the ricers than anything else because they are becoming more and more of a problem every summer.

Actually it was the fact that having sexual relations with a fish was on the books as illegal.

This is why, when I (don't) street race, I always choose roads with speed limits of 50 or higher, and cut if off by then. Generally you can tell who is going to win by the time the first one hits 50. And if I'm losing, then screw it... I'll live to (not) race another day. Mcknight rd in the north side of Pittsburgh was an awesome road to do that on. Limit was 55 and it was an 8 lane road!
