Alrightly....over the past couple of weeks I have been working with the AMR tuner on an E30 tune. I am a huge fan of E30 esp being in Phoenix and only having access to 91 octane. Also it just so happens I had a brand new 55 gallon drum of Torco T85 sitting in my garage.

This is the best I have run with the E30.

Yeah.....

That was with pretty crappy DA, and not on my regular test strip. However there is a new problem. I am in the exact same situation that I was in with my SHO. I have all of the supporting mods to go faster, but I am out of turbo.......again. The only problem is, a decent set of turbos for my car are about 6k. So, the only mods for the future are a pair of drag radials. I bet I could get a 10.5x with a great launch. So yeah.....

Damn, that is fast for a family cruiser, or really, any street car. It's hard to know where to draw the line on mods, not only cash considerations, but extra strain on associated parts. I like right where your at now, easily walking pesky Camaros and Hellcats.

Yeah, it is borderline almost too fast for most situations. Even with moderate throttle manipulation, felonious speeds are obtained not really trying. Getting data logs and running quarter mile times is hairy. I have to go out late at night and pray I get a one and done. In race mode this car from the outside is ear splitting, so even with no one around to see anything, they sure as H E L L hear it for miles.

My only saving grace is, while in comfort it is very quiet....until around 2800 rpms. Other then that, knowing I can drag 99% of the cars I come across from dig or a roll, while listening to talk radio, and getting my ass air conditioned and massaged is the chef's kiss.
