Easton what is the CPC? What is its function?
The CPC is a whole different management component. It controls torque limits, thermal management, v max (max speed) and exhaust flaps.

You cannot rewrite the stock CPC. It is locked. However you can get a blank CPC that is unlocked. You clone it to the VIN and then you can adjust that one.

Like the SHO, MB has torque limiters build in as well. When you raise the limiters, it allows the car to make more power. These can be adjusted in the CPC.

Thermal management consists of engine fans, Intercooler pumps, ect. They can make adjustments to thresholds to help mitigate heat soak.

They can raise the v max speed from a limited 186 mph to 200 mph +.

For the exhaust flaps, they can lock them open.

GCA Catless Downpipes came in yesterday. Damn they are really nice. Tabs are nice and strong, welds are super nice, and the heat shielding is attached really well. Not bad for $808 to my door delivered under a week. My fabricator should have some space in his shop next week. He is the same one that did the custom resonator and cat delete on my SHO. Since we have to cut the stock catted downpipes (or drop the trans), he is going to add v bands to the stock downpipes so they are reusable if needed.

Should make the E63s sound really nasty.
