Does anyone know who still sells a silicone hose intake manifold couplers kit. I can't seem to find them anymore?

I am having air leaking into the intake manifold through these connectors. When I tried to tighten them or touched them, they all crumpled in my hand.

I am using self-fusing silicone tape (max 500F rating) to cover the gap. But the strength of the vacuum is such that the tape is collapsing and being pulled in to the intake.

Yesterday, one collapsed completely and the engine started bucking and sqealing like a pig.

I need to use 40 mil silicone tape to stop this (normally 20 mil is sold) or I have to build up a large number of passes. But I don't have time to wait several days for this to congeal into a solid mass which would not deform under vacuum.

I have purchased sime silicone hose for this purpose to the correct mm outside diameter of the gap, but I don't have access to it where I am staying now for a work assignment.

Any help appreciated.

you will have to cut them to the proper length. You can pretty much get 2 couplers out of one hose

edit: you will want to buy a hose cutter, do not use a razor knife

I looked for hose cutters once. I couldn't find a pair that opened wide enough for the OD of the hose I had purchased which had the right ID for the tubes (I don't know what the proper term is for the pipes that leave the butterflies.
