I am looking to order a deck from Crutchfield within the next two days. They offer an OEM Amplifier Integration unit for 50 bucks. Do I need this if the receiver has 25 Watts RMS/50 peak x 4 ch? Thanks a lot guys!

Two things:

1. I wouldn't buy from Crutchfield. They're too pricy.
2. You don't need the OEM integration box. I got an amp bypass harness plus the regular wiring harness all for $15 (if memory serves). Works and sounds just fine.

To satisfy my curiosity, what's the HU?

When I put my deck in, I got a nifty lil' connector that hooked to the factory amp plug and gave me 2 sets of RCA's to run to my deck. It cost me $17.99. They rape ya in that catalog. The only plus side to orderin' from them is they give ya a free factory harness but that doesn't do ya any good cause it only works with the standard stereo systems and not the upgraded ones like in all of our SHO's. Check around, you can find everything ALOT cheaper. Check out CMT Trading they have a sweet selection of car audio stuff for dirt cheap prices.
